Elementary School K-6
June 23, 2014

Hello parents and students!

I hope your elementary students are enjoying their summer break. It is hard to believe we just ended another amazing school year. As usual, June is a busy time around here, as we prepare for August and the return of our elementary students. Great things are happening at the elementary school. Thank you for your continued support and patience.

There are a few important upcoming dates I want to be sure to remind you about. First of all, our Elementary Check In Fair will be held over two days, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5th and 6th. You may come in anytime after 10:00 on August 5th to find out who your students teacher will be, to make donations or ask questions. We would like to invite new students and parents to attend on Wednesday the 6th if possible, to avoid the large crowd of existing students.

Members of the parent council will be available to answer questions, as well as our lunch coordinator and fine arts director. You can sign up to volunteer in the classroom, and tour the school facilities. In the elementary gym, we will have a clothing exchange where dress-code approved items will be sold for only $1.00.

"Meet the Teacher" will be on Tuesday, August 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 in the classrooms. Our first day of school for the 2014-2015 school year, for 1st - 6th graders will be on Wednesday, August 13th starting at 8:40 am. Kindergarten students will start the following week, on Wednesday, August 20th.

More information regarding these and many more upcoming events can be found on the main elementary announcements page.

If you have questions or need information, our full staff will be available at all three schools, starting Monday, July 28th 2014. Please continue to enjoy your summer break, and I look forward to seeing you in August.
